Where: Bridge Hall and Courtyard (dress in layers)
RSVP: EventBrite - Winter Solstice 2024
Celebrate the longest night of the year with us in joyful and hope-filled setting. The evening begins with time for food and friendly conversation, followed by a simple yet moving ceremony that includes meditative and jazz music performed by Gregory Michael and his talented band, heartfelt readings, and a fire ceremony that honors the return of light.
We invite you to come prepared to write some thoughts on paper. Specifically, reflect on something you are proud of, imagine a toast to someone who inspired you this past year, choose to let go of what no longer serves you, and make an oath or promise for the year ahead. It’s a chance to celebrate the journey of 2024 and set intentions for 2025.
Light snacks, hot chocolate, and hot cider will be provided, so just come as you are. Children and adults are welcome, and there is no charge for this special gathering. For those unable to join in person, the event will also be streamed live on YouTube. Simply search "Neighborhood Church Laguna Beach" and subscribe for updates.
