Adult Spirituality Study Group

The Adult Study group is currently studying a Faith & Reason lecture series entitled The Ten Commandments: Laws of the Heart. In this series, Joan Chittister, OSB “invites us to think deeply about the moral fibers of our society and presents the idea that the Ten Commandments are an adventure in human growth – that we are not so much convicted by them as we are transformed by them.”

July 2: The Second Commandment - The Law of Respect; The Third Commandment - The Law of Remembrance

August 6: The Fourth Commandment – The Law of Caring; The Fifth Commandment – The Law of Life

September 3: The Sixth Commandment – The Law of Commitment; The Seventh Commandment – The Law of Sharing

October 1: The Eighth Commandment – The Law of Speech: The Ninth Commandment – The Law of Self-Control

November 5: The Tenth Commandment – The Law of Assurance; Epilogue – The Two Laws of Love

All meetings are on the first Thursday of the month at 7PM in the church library.
