Community Forum on Housing Laguna Beach Homeless
Friday, April 11, 2014 - 7:00pm
Join Us for a Community Forum to Discuss Permanent Supportive Housing in Laguna Canyon with Friendship Shelter.
Neighborhood Congregational Church is hosting a community forum to discuss Friendship Shelter’s Permanent Supportive Housing proposal for Laguna Canyon. Friendship Shelter’s Executive Director Dawn Price is thrilled at the opportunity to have a conversation with our community about Permanent Supportive Housing, will give details about the proposal, and will be here to answer your questions about its impact on our community. Sally Barron, NCC member and forum organizer said “I heard Dawn speak about this development and was so energized and excited by this proposal I thought it should be presented to the broader community." The forum is planned in advance of the City Council meeting on April 22nd where Friendship Shelter and their development partner Jamboree Housing will present their full proposal, in order to answer questions and concerns from community members. This forum is open to the public, and all are invited to visit www.friendsofsupportivehousing.org to learn more and join the conversation.
The meeting will be held in our Sanctuary.
