Purpose of the Walk: This is a fund-raising event to help fight hunger and homelessness both locally and internationally. It's a wonderful opportunity for religious groups from all faith traditions, businesses, schools and other secular groups to walk together towards this common goal. The walk is non- denominational.
Some local groups that receive a portion of the donations: Isaiah House, Share Our Selves, Orange County Interfaith Shelters, Jewish Federation & Family Services, and Stand Up For Kids. Our walk joins with 2000 other walks nationwide, raising millions of dollars for the more than 1 billion people in our world who go to bed hungry.
You can donate directly to the Newport Beach CROP Hunger Walk HERE
Our walk is overseen by Church World Service, an organization providing international & local relief for the hungry and homeless. Church World Service has the highest rating possible on Charity Navigator . It is a registered 501(c)3 non- profit and the tax ID is 13-4080201.
We invite you or your group to join us on this joyous occasion to help fight a very serious problem - poverty and hunger. Let’s make this quarter-century event the best ever!
