Transition Tuesday with Ruben Flores & Transition Laguna

Potluck dinner at 6:30, and 7:00 talk with Ruben Flores, the owner of Laguna Nursery, teaching about "going native" in our plant choices and landscape designs.  Also owner of award winning Visionscape Landscaping Co., Ruben is a huge advocate for the use of indigenous native trees, shrubs and ground cover whenever possible, a plan we've tried to follow in our own NCC landscaping. Ruben will share tips on choosing natives, and show some of his award winning designs that highlight the use of low water, drought tolerant native landscaping that is both beautiful and better for our local environment.  Bring your favorite food to share, along with your dish & utensils to the potluck beforehand.
