Although the people of God are to be a light to the world, a beacon leading everyone towards peace and justice, the simple truth is this: Light shines in the darkness but does not make the darkness go away. This is why it is imperative that we keep shining our light. Epiphany is a day to celebrate God's love for all - especially those who are most in need of God's light and love. See you Sunday.
