11-30-14: O That God's Power Would Come Down

Scripture: Isaiah 64:1-9; Psalm 80:1-7

Advent marks the time in the church when we wait and prepare for God’s arrival. The year has been long and we are weary—in need of rejuvenation, in need of hope. So much of life is full of trial and struggle that we feel like crying out with Isaiah:  If only you would tear open the heavens and come down! You are the potter, we are the clay.  We are the works of your hands.  Join us this Sunday as we await the coming of Emmanuel, God with us.  See you then.
