12-6-15: Joseph: A Righteous Doubter

Scripture: Matthew 1:18-25

On this second Sunday of Advent, we focus on the extraordinary journey of Joseph. With a pregnant fiancé, Joseph is filled with doubt, yet remains righteous. Even with assurances from an angel that Mary’s child is from God, who would blame Joseph if he had divorced Mary quietly and taken the easy path. Life is full of times when God turns our world upside down. How we respond makes all the difference. See you Sunday.
