5-17-15: It's All How You Look At It

Scripture:  Ephesians 1:15-23

PBS Kids has a slogan to encourage kids to be optimistic about life: “It’s all how you look at it!”  Such is the sentiment of Paul to the church at Ephesus. “I pray that…with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which God has called you, what are the riches of God’s glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of God’s power for us who believe.” Do we have the eyes to see the wonders God is working in and through us, or do we only have eyes to see what is not working out? If Paul were writing today, he’d sure say with PBS: “It’s all how you look at it!” See you Sunday.
