6-05-16: Childlike vs. Childish

Scripture reading: Exodus 2:1-10; 1 John 3:1-7;Luke 18:15-17

Modern psychology has made famous the idea of the ‘inner child.’ Is there some way we remain a child even after we have ‘grown up?’ Can there be anything positive about being like a child our whole life long? What does the New Testament really mean when it refers to followers of Jesus as ‘children of God?’ Wouldn’t it be far better to be ‘adults of God?’
