Garden Angels

Working in conjunction with Transition Laguna Beach, NCC has transformed the grounds around the church into sustainable, edible, low water landscaping. We collect our water in several rain barrels, rotate our crops throughout the year, and food grown at the church is now used to augment the meals created by the ASL Chef’ Teams. The gardens are open year round with small tasks needed on a regular basis, such as planting seeds and seedlings in the Spring and watering, tending and harvesting in the warmer growth and “production” months; with weeding needed on a regular basis to keep it all looking great!
